Built across 48 hours as an entry for Global Game Jam 2017.
Given the theme "Waves," we looked to make a game that put a pacifistic twist to high-action, topdown shooter games via an absurd, cartoony premise. Pandawareness casts the player as a lone, politically-charged Giant Panda dead set on calling attention to the struggles of the species at the most televised basketball game of the year. Storming the court between quarters, it is up to you to wave the flag of Pandawareness!
